The trademark name well known as trading name or trademark business name is the name which a business trade under for commercial purposes, although its registered, legal name used for contracts and other formal situation. The trademark name is not officially approved until the fees and application are received by the office and the proposed mark is being reviewed for the conflicts with the existing trademarks. An institution may misplace a trademark if it stops using it, if the proper renewal forms are not filed, if proper quality control is not exercised over licenses.
